# Croct on G2 this fall: more categories, same source of truth

Software categories are how buyers actually shop. Nobody wakes up wanting "a composable stack". They want to fix a slow landing-page workflow, run an experiment without a deploy, or finally personalize something for an account that matters.

That's why we pay attention to where Croct shows up on G2. Category listings are driven by verified customer reviews, and this season Croct appears in more of them than ever.

## Where Croct is listed on G2 today

Croct now appears in these G2 grids:

- **Personalization** and **Personalization Engines**
- **Component Content Management Systems** and **Headless CMS**
- **Content Experience Platforms** and **CMS Tools**
- **A/B Testing**
- **Digital Analytics**
- **Digital Experience Platforms (DXP)**
- **Account-Based Web and Content Experiences**

Six of those are new for us, and the pattern is worth naming: these aren't unrelated categories that we happen to squeeze into. They're the pieces a team normally buys separately (a personalization engine, a headless CMS, an experimentation tool, an analytics layer) and then spends a quarter wiring together.

Croct was built as one system precisely so that wiring never has to happen.

Showing up across all of those categories at once is the market-facing version of that argument, written by customers instead of by us.

Two of the new listings say something specific about where we're heading:

- **Account-Based Web and Content Experiences**

Personalization stopped being a consumer-web idea. B2B teams want the same landing page to speak differently to a named account than it does to anonymous traffic, without a developer in the loop for every variant. That's a use case our customers built on Croct before there was a tidy category name for it.

- **Digital Analytics**

Croct's roots are in Brazil, and a large part of our community is there. Being listed in a regional view in Latin America alongside the global ones reflects how the product actually grew: real teams, shipping real personalization, in a market that rarely gets its own row in a research chart.

## How we're placed right now

## The rating behind all of it

Croct holds a 4.7-star average rating on G2, based on verified [customer reviews](https://www.g2.com/products/croct/reviews).

That number is the one we actually care about. Categories describe a market, the rating describes whether the people using Croct every day would tell a peer to do the same.

It comes from teams who integrated the SDK on a Thursday, shipped a personalized experience on a Friday, and pinged our support channel at some point in between and got a human.

## What we're doing with this

Nothing about a category listing makes a product better. But the spread does tell us something useful: teams are consolidating. They're tired of running a CMS that doesn't know what the personalization engine knows, and an experimentation tool that can't see either. Every new category Croct appears in is another workflow someone decided not to stitch together by hand.

That's the roadmap, and it hasn't changed: one platform where content, segmentation, personalization, and experimentation share the same data and the same publishing flow. One platform fast enough that a marketer can use it without filing a developer ticket.

If you're evaluating tools in any of the categories above, the most useful thing you can do is read what our customers wrote (the good and the caveats) on [our G2 profile](https://www.g2.com/products/croct/reviews).

And if you're already a customer: [leave a review](https://www.g2.com/products/croct/reviews). Your input drives everything on this page.
