Product update: content management and collaboration
This month’s release focuses on making day-to-day work inside Croct faster, clearer, and easier to manage for teams. If you deal with content, components, or experiments, you’ll notice immediate improvements.
Here’s what’s new.
Rename list items for clearer content organization
Slots that contain lists, like carousels, menus, or topic groups, used to show items as generic labels such as item 1 or banner 2. Finding the right one often meant opening each item until you landed on the correct content.
You can now rename list items directly. Use meaningful labels and stop guessing which item is which. It’s a simple fix that removes a lot of friction when managing larger structures.
Jump from a slot to its component with one click
Components define each slot’s structure. If you’re editing a slot and realize you need to adjust its schema, you no longer have to search for that component elsewhere in the product.
A new button takes you straight from the slot page to the component it uses. Whether you need to add an optional field or update an attribute, you can now get there instantly.
Last editor information everywhere
Many teams work with agencies or multiple internal collaborators. Knowing who changed what, and when, is important for accountability and debugging.
We now show the last editor information across all key resources: audiences, components, slots, experiences, and experiments. You’ll see messages like “Last modified 16 minutes ago by Joe Doe” right where you need them.
Copy content from experiences
When creating personalized experiences, you can copy the slot’s default content to speed up the setup. Experiments now get the same treatment.
You can copy content from any experience when creating a new variant. It’s perfect when you want to test small adjustments without rebuilding the entire content from scratch.
These updates are available to all customers starting today. If you have suggestions for future improvements, our team is always open to feedback.
